George Erickcek, the Upjohn Institute economist, made a BC Rotary presentation this noon, and stated that “the U.S. has returned to a degree of income inequality not seen for a hundred years”, and that “this [national] economy isn’t producing a more stable middle class.”
I’m disappointed I have to report the obvious.

Calhoun County government is indeed doing more with less

A study released Tuesday shows that Michigan has one of the lowest ratios of county and municipal employees to numbers of 2010 Census data citizens in the country, and the lowest ratio in the Great Lakes region.
Calhoun County government is indeed doing more with less.
